Family photoshoot in Limburg?

This lovely family booked me last summer, to be precise, in mid-August, for a spontaneous photoshoot of their family on the Brunssummerheide.

We met at the parking lot of the former riding school, and because this time I didn't want to go to the Rode Beek, I chose a piece of heath with a sandy path uphill as the location. Here, we took some spontaneous sitting and walking photos of the parents with the two children. I also took some photos of the brother and sister walking hand in hand, but also laughing and cuddling together in the forest.

Afterwards, I decided to change the location. In the other direction, there is also a piece of Rode Beek in the forest, near a mountain bike trail. Here, I once discovered a beautiful piece of forest, hidden between dense bushes and trees, at a later water point near the Rode Beek, with lots of soft and beautiful moss and fallen birch trees. This is a somewhat fairytale-like place where nobody comes, and in spring, there are always cute little frogs.

It had been a while since I had been there. The place had grown over with blackberry bushes, but still, I managed to get there with my camera trolley and the family, and we created beautiful images lying and sitting in the moss. The children find lying in the moss very cute. They look like little fairies, and I noticed that they were very excited about it themselves.

What was even more delightful was that after the photoshoot, they eventually sent me a beautiful photo via WhatsApp—a photo collage that they had enlarged into an Ixxi and hung in their living room.
